Eighth grade is an important year in a student's career. Although you're not quite high school students, some of you are already taking multiple high school classes, which comes with a lot of responsibility. 

 

Transitioning into high school is scary enough, and even more so if you have no one to help you- which is why we're here! Our mission is to help you prepare for your first year of high school, giving you advice and tips from personal experience to help make the transition smoother. We are here to answer questions on everything from choosing classes, standardized tests, GPA, and pointers about what certain teachers like and don't like.

 

We hope our workshops and presentations throughout the year will help you feel more confident as you enter 9th grade next fall as outstanding Mater Academy freshman and all throughout high school as you leave your marks.
